Fun Sunday!

So I decided to make home-made eclairs on Sunday. Dang, they were good. :) They didn't last very long. The kids enjoyed them!
Of course Jarom got the messiest. He ate 3.

After we had our little treat we all went outside and the kids were riding their bikes. You can see from this picture that we actually have grass now -- even though it's extremely weedy. :)

So Justin was playing around with the kids and he was riding Amber's scooter. He decided to try and take a small jump from the driveway onto the grass -- there was a small slope and he was going to jump over it -- or something. LOL Anyway, I'm not sure what exactly happened but he ended up flying over the scooter and slid across the ground a little bit. At first it didn't seem like he would be hurt but he wasn't moving. So I ran over to him and he was TOTALLY out of it. I think he had been knocked out. He didn't look "with it" at all. Anyway, it took a minute before he was able to sit up. His face was totally bloody on the one side. When he slid across the ground it scraped up his face pretty good. The weird thing is that Justin doesn't remember any of it. He doesn't remember coming into the house, he doesn't remember me taking pictures..nothing. LOL We can laugh about it now but it kind of freaked me out!

Here is Justin right after he cleaned his face up. He's been very sore since Sunday. He was hardly able to move his neck yesterday.

Holy Crap! That's crazy! Too bad you didn't have it on video. I will definitely show this to Jared!

Oh my gosh...Lanae, that must have been strange to see, funny and scary at the same time. Hope Justin is okay. I figured he wouldn't remember you taking those pictures, because if he had been aware, I don't think he would have allowed you to capture this moment. I'm sure the kids think he's pretty cool now...with his scars and all!
